Max Alexander - Quiet Poet and Visual Artist

Max draws with everything and on whatever he can find. His drawings tend to be made in quick bursts of energy with most of the thinking coming after. Max likes to play with repetition, abstraction, colour, humour and language. He likes to create space for the untranslatable and play with our need to understand and name everything.  Whilst many of Max’s drawings deal with processing experiences and ideas, often relating to being queer and autistic, many exist on a purely sensory and emotional level (creating something beautiful is saying something).
